Description
DESCRIPTION:
Position Description: This individual will report to the Accounting Manager and will have responsibilities and expectations in the following areas:
Process monthly Client billings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Set up new Clients and jobs in the financial system (Advantage)
Ensure that accounts receivable remain current and kindly follow up on overdue accounts
Prepare accounts receivable aging and subsequent receipts reports
Conduct account research and analysis and work to resolve outstanding issues
Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
Prepare annual property tax return
Perform monthly accounting processes such as account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
Record daily cash transactions
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Update weekly cashflow forecast
Review and approve vendor invoice list for payment
Setup new vendors in the financial system
Assist with company trainings, as requested
Assist with special projects and research, as requested
Backup AP position, when needed
Perform other duties as assigned
