Position: RA2156 Title: Project Manager, Sensory Research Salary: 50-70K Location: IL - Chicago
Sensory and consumer product research company with Fortune 500 and other blue-chip customers in the food and beverage, personal care, fine fragrance, and home and fabric care industries is looking for a Project Manager. If you are a recent grad in sensory or food science this would be a great role. The position will be working on site at a client in Chicago. The Project Manager will work collaboratively with the VP Consumer and Sensory Insights and the Testing Operations and Fielding Manager to coordinate sensory and consumer research projects to ensure successful implementation and deliverables that meet client,
industry, and company standards. Key responsibilities will be to oversee the operational execution of all onsite DA, DI and Consumer Sensory work. The role will also collaborate to design the research, coordinate, and facilitate all research and operational activities, and ensure the deliverables are complete and meet company and Client standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prioritize and oversee multiple on-site projects from start to finish using Asana project management system
- Review and Analysis of quantitative consumer testing (DA, CLT, HUT and Discrimination) using Eye Question Software
- Interpret and summarize research findings to present results
- Creation, execution and revision of customized project work plans and milestones as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements of client
- Oversee maintenance and enforcement of process documentation, including
SOPs
- Oversee development and proper storage of project documentation including screeners and questionnaires, protocol, moderator/execution script, respondent instructions, and all other relevant field support documentation
- Work closely with the Testing and Fielding Operations Manager to coordinate panel availability and facilities
- Updating Testing and Field Operations Manager of study progress, anticipated problems and suggested resolutions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Quality-focused with attention to detail and accuracy
- 0-3 years’ experience in project management with research supplier or manufacturer, with the ability to maintain timelines and direct others on deliverables (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Ability to multi-task, reprioritize, and execute in a high-pressure environment
- Adept at using technological resources including Excel,
PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Aptitude for learning new technologies and proprietary tools
- Able to consistently represent Curion professionally in front of clients
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing
- Sensory and/or CPG experience not required but a plus
- BA/BS in Social Sciences, Psychology, Business, Market Research, Management Science, Food Sciences, Sensory Sciences, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Master’s degree a plus
