The Opportunity:  Senior Quantitative Insight Strategist

Things You Would Do  

Quantitative Research Design

  • Develop and apply quantitative research methods and tools to address client marketing issues/challenges
  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of quantitative research projects from start to finish across multiple clients:
    • Development of sampling plans, questionnaires and analysis plans (table and banner plans, quality checking code sheets and cross-tabulated data for accuracy and completeness)
    • Scheduling and oversight of field operations, survey programming, data processing, and advanced statistical analysis
    • Anticipate and resolve client and/or project issues
    • Development of strategic insight driven reports/presentations inclusive of storytelling and data visualization

Sales/Account Management

  • Respond and close qualified warm leads through rapport building, fully understanding client needs, development of quantitative research designs and solutions, development of insightful proposals, conducting appropriate follow-up and navigating client objections

Knowledge, Skills and Experience You Would Use 

  • 8+ years supplier and/or client-side marketing research experience
  • Project management and client facing skills
  • Ability to consult with clients to uncover marketing issues – even those clients might not be aware of
  • Detail oriented with ability to maintain strategic perspective and focus on high quality end deliverables
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to program surveys
  • Proficiency with various statistical tools; e.g. regression, ANOVA, Cluster Analysis, Factor Analysis, Conjoint, Discrete Choice, MaxDiff, correlation, significance testing etc.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS
  • Visualizing and telling a story with data
  • Solid understanding of sampling and related issues
  • Understanding of underlying ethics and principles for conducting quantitative research
  • Experience leading segmentation, brand health tracking, advertising and package testing, pricing optimization, concept screening/testing and product testing projects
  • Working knowledge of qualitative research methods and applications
