The Director, Strategic Development, is a senior leader accountable and responsible for the development and maintenance of key client relationships across multiple ends client partners. Responsible for sales and annual sales plans.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall client relationship of multiple end client & insight partner accounts.
Builds strong relationships with clients to identify appropriate solutions to prioritize client needs and manage resources.
Builds a high level of strategic partnership with clients.
Liaison between clients and internal teams (PM, Panel, faculty) to drive project success.
Works closely with clients to drive compliance of the end client program, identifies/assesses gaps in program, collaborates with key influencers to understand the why and develop solutions.
Conduct on-going assessment of status of compliance and exception request. Identify solutions to deepen relationship.
Translates overall client strategies into detailed objectives and tactics for self and internal teams.
Identifies and builds strong relationships with influencers/decision makers within end client and insight partner organization to develop new business and develop understanding of pipeline opportunities.
Collaborates closely with the account management, consulting and project management teams to ensure project success.
Successfully on-boards new clients into the end client programs ensuring client teams are realizing full benefit of relationship and program.
Identify new relationship within client base with goal of expanding Schlesinger footprint in all areas.
Develops annual sales plan to produce aggressive year-over-year growth and effectively manages profit/pricing expectations.
Meets overall sales targets.
Deliver results that produce high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty vs. competition.
Process management orientation.
Strong consultative client management and selling skills.
New business development proposal and pitch experience.
Experienced in hiring and developing high performance team.
Expert written and oral communication.
