Senior Research Manager
The Senior Research Manager works closely with the client to define more complex business challenges. Once documented, the Senior Research Manager selects the appropriate methodologies and techniques to provide insights to the underlying business issues. The Senior Research Manager often oversees one or more Research Managers—delegating and coordinating multiple concurrent client initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Working with clients to define complex business objectives
- Selecting the most appropriate research methodology and techniques
- Designing qualitative and quantitative research plans for products in all stages of the Product Life Cycle
- Overseeing the design of research questionnaires and moderator guides
- Managing and mentoring Research Managers
- Reviewing the analyses and reports of others—ensuring accuracy, logical consistency and value-add
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years within the custom Market Research industry
- 5 to 7 years of industry/sector experience
- Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies
- Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills
- Strong analytic skills with experience in statistical modeling and analysis—including multivariate and conjoint analysis
- Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS/SAS and time-series analysis tools
- Strong desire and ability to train and mentor team members
- Advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences
