Senior Project Director
The Senior Market Research Project Director is responsible for deepening client relationships, addressing sophisticated/strategic business and research challenges and managing/mentoring one or more Project Directors. Frequently, Senior Project Directors are involved in proposal generation and conduct general data analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and deepening existing client relationships
- Understanding strategic marketing challenges and developing appropriate research plans
- Managing and supervising all phases of a research initiative—from design through report delivery
- Developing and managing project schedules and budgets
- Supervising the work of Project Directors and contributing to their professional development
- Contributing in the effort to acquire new clients
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years within the Market Research industry
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus upon managing details
- Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to anticipate, quickly address and make correct decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Desire and ability to train and mentor team members
- Expertise with MS Word, Excel, the Internet and familiarity with PowerPoint and common statistical packages (i.e., SPSS, etc.)
- Bachelors degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences
