Project Director
The Market Research Project Director is responsible for the overall execution of the fieldwork surrounding a research initiative. The Project Director works directly with the client to develop the project schedule, define the research instrument (moderator’s guide, questionnaire, etc.), develop an analysis plan and coordinate all communications. Internally, Project Directors manage company or vendor resources ensuring the quality, timeliness and accuracy of deliverables. Project Directors are typically involved with multiple concurrent initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating and developing relationships with clients
- Developing moderator guides and designing surveys
- Developing and managing project schedules and budgets
- Formulating analysis plans
- Scheduling and coordinating internal and external resources
- Overseeing project fieldwork and reviewing data quality
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills with a particular focus upon managing details
- Outstanding listening and communication skills—both written and oral
- Desire to learn and work with others
- Ability to develop and meet schedules
- Expertise with MS Word, Excel, and the Internet
- 1 to 4 years of market research experience
