Vice President
The Market Research Vice President is responsible for developing and/or managing clients within an entire geography, sector or industry. The Vice President applies strategic business development principles to maintain or grow their client base/market share. Vice Presidents generally manage an entire office and are responsible for achieving overall sales or profitability goals.
Responsibilities:
Developing and executing a plan to meet short and long term sales and profitability targets
Identifying and capturing strategic opportunities to drive sales and market share
Managing employee retention and staffing the sales, research, and project teams at appropriate levels
Ensuring research quality and achieving high customer satisfaction levels
Requirements:
10 to 15 years in a market research sales capacity
5 or more years managing the P&L of a group, division or business in the defined industry
Hands-on experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods
Outstanding morale and team-building skills
Extensive client development experience with a large industry rolodex
Proven business and negotiation skills
Ability and willingness to travel
An advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences—MBA preferred
